Helping Pet Evacuations for Statewide Fires

Early Sunday morning, Operation Blankets of Love (OBOL) responded to emergency calls for the California firestorms (blazing from Shasta County to San Diego County). Animals were being evacuated from the raging fires and taken to safety.

OBOL’s Brad and volunteers loaded a tonnage of pet food, blankets, crates, X-pens, toys and towels worth thousands of dollars. A U-Haul and truck were loaded with the pet supplies and sent to the fire stricken Shasta County’s Haven Humane Society outside of Redding, as well as San Diego’s animal rescues.

Please watch Brad’s video below.

Thank you Kyle Gillespie for driving down from Sacramento to LA and back up to Redding and Cathy and Jeff who drove from San Diego.

Please make a financial donation so we can continue our vital work!
